Case Studies
Rooftop: Memorial Main – Texas
Prior to Anthemnet accepting this project, several site acquisition vendors had failed to secure space for the anchor carrier. Anthemnet was able to execute a rooftop lease with the owner of the building that achieved the coverage objectives. Anthemnet designed and is implementing an improvement planfor multiple carriers and satisfies several major coverage objectives: The first is the Sam Rayburn Tollway, which on a daily basis sees an average of over 180,000 passing vehicles. The second is several regional malls, including Castle Hills Marketplace and Lewisville Town Crossing. The third is the Castle Hills development which is forecasted to have >4,000 planned multi-family residential units.
System: Fields – Texas
Fields is a multi-billion dollar development in Frisco, TX, stretching over 2,500 acres with a mix of single family and multi-family residential units, as well as entitlements for millions of square feet of commercial space. Attractions include a PGA complex (headquarters, two championship golf courses, and an Omni hotel), Universal’s new theme park (97-acres and featuring a 300-room hotel), a new University of North Texas campus catering to 30,000 students, and Fields West, a premier retail district with upscale shops, hotels, restaurants, residences and entertainment spaces, developed by the mastermind of the widely acclaimed Legacy West in Plano, TX.
Anthemnet is collaborating with the developer to serve as the neutral host communications infrastructure provider to Fields. Several miles of fiber backbone connecting a robust footprint of macro communications facilities to a central computing hub forms the foundation of an effective smart city deployment, allowing the community to meet the growing technological needs of businesses and residents.
Stealth Water Tower: Whitewing Trails – Texas
From the early stages of development, Anthemnet partnered with Centurion American, the developer of Whitewing Trails, to strategically place the site to ensure coverage for all residents of the community. Centurion American is the most prolific Master Planned Community developer in Texas, one of the fastest growing states in the country. Additionally, Anthemnet worked directly with the local jurisdiction to comply with regulatory complexities. As the community is anticipated to see a tremendous amount of population growth, the communications facility was carefully designed to complement the built environment, serving as an iconic community identity feature.
Traditional: Pulsar – Texas
Anthemnet’s Pulsar site is in the midst of an emerging cluster of several large, planned communities and was specifically designed to enable participating carriers to provide wireless coverage for a fast-growing population, as well as an expanding thoroughfare that will carry commuter traffic to and from thousands of new homes in the area. Despite being so centrally located, the site is well-buffered from the communities, resulting in an efficient, aesthetically low impact solution.
Stealth Monument: Frisco Trails – Texas
Anthemnet worked closely with the City of Frisco, a prominent, growing jurisdiction in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that is home to 23 Fortune 500 companies and 150 publicly traded companies. The design satisfied the needs of all 3 major carriers, as well as the stealth and height requirements from the city and the landlord, a prominent local church constructing a new campus.
The Frisco Trails facility is strategically placed to serve several growing demand centers nearby. The monument is architecturally-integrated with the church property to conceal infrastructure and create a visible landmark for the surrounding area.
